Website differentiation in education: interactive tool ‘the classroom’

This website highlights key domains and elements to consider when reflecting on differentiation as a teacher. On the webpage, you can combine domains on the left column (powerful learning environment, curriculum, assessment, instruction, and classroom management) with elements from the right column (student profile, learning process, climate, involvement, and transparency). Matching domains with elements generates a variety of outcomes, each providing a self-screening questions, an explanatory video for the selected domain combination (with added text), and additional inspiration. Each domain and element is briefly outlined in the column, with more elaborate explanations available on the project page.

The tool can be used by both teacher educators and student teachers, though it is especially valuable for student teachers. Its user-friendly design and accessibility make it ideal for use during teaching (practice), helping student teachers develop effective strategies to address diversity in the classroom.

The website is only available in Dutch.
