Helma Oolbekkink-Marchand

Helma Oolbekkink-Marchand is a Professor at HAN University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands. Her research interests are in teacher (educators) professional learning and especially in teacher identity and agency in different career phases and different contexts (f.e. educational innovations). She publishes about her work both in scientific and practice-oriented journals. She is the chair of the Dutch Teacher Educators Association (Velon) which aims to encourage the professional development of teacher educators. She is a member of Research School ICO where she co-coordinates the theme group Teaching and Teacher Education.
